WAM! Vancouver’s second annual conference is now scheduled for Saturday, March 31 at The Center for Peace.

The theme of this year’s conference: UPRISING.

In this conference, we will examine the media’s coverage of various important “uprisings” that have taken place in the past year – SlutWalk, the Arab Spring, Occupy Wall Street, and others – and discuss how the media helps to shape popular perception and opinion of revolutionary movements such as these.

To reserve your spot and to receive conference updates, please fill out the registration form here. Email us at wamvancouver@gmail.com if you have any questions.
